Thanks to the support of Rubis Mecenat, Vitogas Spain has supported projects or programmes of general interest. We believe that it is important to support these associations, which fight for humanitarian purposes on a daily basis.

Vitogas staff are involved in this commitment and adhere to this approach. This is why we have renewed the agreements with the “Fundación Aladina”, which is dedicated to supporting children and adolescents with cancer and their families, and with the ACAB (Association Contre l’Anorexie et la Boulimie), which helps and offers support to people with an eating disorder and their families.

For the fourth consecutive year, we renewed our agreement with Fundación Aladina, an entity that has just celebrated its fifteenth anniversary with a presence in sixteen hospitals in Spain. During this period, 20,000 children benefited from the aid programme. 2020 was marked by the Covid-19 pandemic, and our financial support will go to an extraordinary support fund that the foundation has set up for children with cancer who have suffered the consequences of Covid-19.

At the same time, for the second year in a row, we have validated our confidence in the ACAB, which plans to hire a new psychologist in 2021 to strengthen the family support service. In 2020, our assistance enabled the association to acquire awareness-raising materials for prevention programmes in educational centres.

We contribute our modest participation in human projects that bring together the entire team of Vitogas España, and we adopt the quote below as a maxim.

“We cannot, under the pretext that it is impossible to do everything in one day, do nothing at all. “Abbé Pierre
